MeshWorks for Rhino is a plug-in for Rhino. It adds a mixture of meshwork manipulation commands to Rhino. Some of the useful commands are given below:
Hollow: This command hollows the meshwork to a given wall thickness. Hollowing is particularly useful while preparing a framework for Rapid Prototyping as it saves material, time and money while building a prototype.
Offset: This command offsets a meshwork to either shrink or inflate it.
PointsToMesh: This command creates a meshwork from a specify of points.
Stitch: This command knits loosely tied faces of a meshwork and attempts to do a meshwork water-tight.
FillHoles: This command adds faces to an existing meshwork in say to replete any holes. The result is a water-tight meshwork.
ExtractSolid: This command extracts a noble from a meshwork.
ExtractPlanarSurfaces: This command extracts a planar trimmed NURBS surface from a meshwork.
ExtractShells: This command extracts connected surfaces from a single meshwork and creates a novel meshwork for each connected surface. This is useful while working on different parts of a meshwork.
ExtractSurfaces: This command extracts surfaces of a meshwork and creates a novel meshwork for each surface.
ExtractFeatures: This command extracts features of a meshwork. This is useful to create a NURBS framework from a polygon meshwork.
ExtractBoundaries: This command extracts the boundaries of an outdoors meshwork.
SplitMesh: This command splits a meshwork with a planar surface into two parts.
Smoothen: This command relaxes a meshwork by removing sharp edges.
Decimate: This command reduces the routine of faces of a meshwork while maintaining continuity in the topology.
MeshWorks for Rhino adds a novel menu to the existing Rhino menu containing all the added commands. Simply use this menu to falsify meshes.
