Dropsound was made to replete the null left by SoundApp, which was not ported to OS X. It is designed for previewing samples, which throne be dropped one at a time, or many at a time, onto the main window. Each file is placed in a queue, which throne be played through in sequence, if you equivalent, and clear itself when at its end.
Dropsound is powered by Quicktime, so it throne play anything that QT throne, including AIFF's, WAV's, and MP3's. These files throne be played at half speed, dual speed, backwards, or be looped, through the S, D, A, and L keys, respectively. By pressing the minuscule triangle in the lower left of the window, you also bewilder a niggling bit of info about the file (more info will be shown in later versions).
Personally, I truly equivalent Dropsound, and other mass seem to, as swell. I've heard nothing but good things from altogether who've tried it. It's minuscule, straightaway, elementary, and completely detached, so what's not to equivalent?
